Teletherapy

What is teletherapy?

Teletherapy is like having a chat with your therapist over video or phone. It is very convenient because you can do it from any private space, whether at home, in your car, or at work, making it easier to fit into your busy schedule. Plus, this opens up access to specialized therapists who might not be in your area. It is great for consistent care, even when travel or in-person visits are not possible.

How does it work?

Before your session, your therapist will send you a link to a secure portal. Just click the link, and you will enter a virtual waiting room where you will meet with your therapist. The session lasts about 45 minutes. It is just like in-person one, helping to address anxiety, depression, conflict, and stress. Most insurance companies cover telehealth as if it was an in-person session. It is always good to call your insurance company to confirm your benefits.
